Tena’s European flair and sophistication, her passion for New York City real estate, culture, food and art, together with her unflagging commitment to getting the job done no matter what it takes, make her the ideal real estate broker and the ideal advocate. Hailing from the beautiful Adriatic Coast in Pula, Croatia, Tena fell in love with New York City on her first visit and Manhattan has been her home for nearly ten years. Fluent in English, Italian and, of course, Croatian, and possessed of a sparkling personality and unflappable nature, she is charming and engaging.
Tena earned a Masters in Journalism from the University of Zagreb with a concentration in public relations and television media, and this background has been instrumental to her effective marketing skills. She has an exceptional ability to communicate in both the spoken and written word; her Certification as a Negotiation Expert insures outstanding client representation.
When not selling real estate, Tena is actively involved as an ambassador for all things Croatian as she is enormously proud of her heritage. She is a founding member of the Association of Croatian American Professionals in New York (ACAP), a member-driven, non-profit. ACAP is committed to fostering knowledge-sharing and networking among Croatian-American professionals and Croatian professionals around the world. ACAP events encourage Croatian-American commerce and camaraderie and support amongst its members. ACAP values of leadership, cooperation and integrity are a fine reflection of Croatians both in the United States and globally. In addition to her work with ACAP, Tena created and continually manages on Facebook “Croatian Events in New York City/Hrvatski Eventi u New Yorku” the purpose of which is to promote and unify all New York City Croatian events on one page, facilitating access and information for the Croatian community. Tena loves animals and enjoys her work as a volunteer for animal rescue shelters.
