His biggest achievement was organizing the Los Angeles Vatreni Croatia soccer watch parties at St. Anthony’s, especially the 2018 World Cup in which they hosted 7 watch parties, culminating with the Croatia vs France World Cup Final where over 3000 fans in attendance which made it the largest gathering at St. Anthony’s Croatian Catholic Church in their 108 year history. (St. Anthony’s was established in 1910).
Over 10 media outlets covered this Final watch party including Fox Sports who designated this event as the official Croatia World Cup Watch Party for the United States. Fox showcased this event during their World Cup Half-Time Show which was seen by millions of viewers across the world. We were proud to represent Croatians in the United States.
