Frane is a Croatian American pianist. He started playing piano at the age of 9 and has been pursuing a career as a concert pianist ever since. At the age of 10 he moved to the U.S. with his family, where he studied piano with Anna Ouspenskaya, at the Levine School of Music in Washington DC, completing with a Certificate of Distinction. He continued his study as a student of Boris Slutsky at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. At the age of 18 he moved to Germany to study at the Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz Koln where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in piano performance. There, he studied Florence Millet and graduated in the class of Jacob Leuschner.

Frane has performed at numerous recitals and master classes with renowned world pianists. He took part in and won many local and national piano competitions, performing at Merkin Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

In recent years, he has continued performing all across Europe: Dusseldorf, Hannover, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Split, and more. Frane continues to reside in Germany and is actively performing as a soloist and with chamber music ensembles, while teaching as a docent at the Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz Kol.
