Filip is a research fellow at the National Institute of Health (NIH). Filip has presented at a bio-medical conference, published research articles in an academic peer-review journal and has a number of additional co-authorships. In Filip’s field of biomedical research, he has collaborated with Croatian colleagues both in Washington DC and Croatia. He even won the Outstanding Poster at the 2015 NIH Postbac Poster day awarded, awarded to the best posters and judged by the graduate and postdoctoral students.
Above picture: Filip’s mom Sanya and Croatian Ambassador Josko Paro. Since 2012, Filip has been very active committee member of Hrvatska Ura (HURA) in Washington DC. He has been very involved in the planning and organization of the HURA group which sponsors ten plus events (speaker and vino) per year, and most are held at the Croatian Embassy in the nation’s capital.
