The project currently being investigated is led by Dr. Gary Ackerman and his research team at the University at Albany, SUNY and is funded by the United States Department of Defense. The project aims to improve the understanding of information and disinformation alongside assisting the United States to better be able to counter disinformation from other countries. To achieve this goal, the project will involve a group of Croatian Americans completing a 45-minute simulation over the internet that requires them to judge a variety of messages from the United States and other countries to determine how this affects their attitudes towards these countries. In return for participating, all participants will receive a $20 Amazon gift card for their time and efforts.
You are welcome to participate in the project if you meet any of the following criteria:
You are a Croatian-American that was born and raised in Croatia.
You are a Croatian-American that has spent serious time living in Croatia and has a concrete understanding of the Croatian culture.
