C. Benjamin Anderson is a multi-award-winning producer for feature films, television and Virtual reality content and most recently is the Executive Vice President of development and production at Phoenix Pictures.
Mr. Anderson has been a film, television production executive in the entertainment industry for over 18-years working in development, production and representation. He has extensive project management experience on complex, high budget projects. Strong creative and story skills with an academic background in film, law and business.
Mr. Anderson joined Phoenix pictures in 2011. That year Anderson authored the business plan and led the transition, operation and development of the television division with Phoenix. Just two years later he was promoted to his current Title of Executive Vice President of Development and Production of the film and television division.
As EVP of Phoenix, Anderson has developed and sold over 30-projects to all of the major studios and television distributors as well as spearheading global relationships with Atrium TV and local language deals with CIWEN, CCTV and Netflix APAC.
He has also served as a development director on several feature films, such as: Black Swan, Shutter Island, Absolutely Anything, The Promise and Altered Carbon. Anderson served as the producer assigned to production on projects, such as the acclaimed The Long Road Home and The 33 (Chilean Minor Story) where he was with the project from inception through post production. Prior to joining Phoenix in 2009 Anderson represented talent and literary clients as an entertainment transactional attorney. In 2003, Anderson worked as a creative executive at National Lampoon developing and acquiring feature films and television properties for the studio. Anderson, managed development and production of series, which included — The Reel Review Show.
Anderson, oversaw more than 40 other projects in development. Anderson started his career at Quentin Tarantino’s A Band Apart production label in 2001, where he was an assistant and worked his way up through physical production where he worked on over twenty-five music videos and commercials.
